DR. CHAITASI INTWALA M. D. C. C. F. P. (OSS) ,grew up in a family with solid medical background, has lifelong passion and commitment for proving excellence in medical care. After immigrated to Canada , Dr. Intwala graduated from Manitoba Licensure program for International Medical graduate in the year 2011 from University of Manitoba. Being an International Medical graduate and trained in family medicine Dr. Intwala was a trailblazer in getting into and being successfully trained in ENHANCED OBSTETRICS SKILLS program at Women's Hospital, in year 2012. Present year 2021 College of Family Physician of Canada has recognized DR. Intwala's education and extensive experience in providing Obstetrics care and awarded her with CERTIFICATE IN ENHANCED OBSTETRICS SURGICAL SKILLS(OSS).

Dr. INTWALA is one of the very few family physician who still practices the real essence of family practice. She is providing one stop care for entire family and all generations in one family. She can take care of an elderly patient with complex medical condition and a young one with similar ease as she has competency in pregnancy related issues, mental health, seeing newborn and children in her practice. She also delivers her own patients. DR. Intwala goes in person for her patient's delivery irrespective of being on- call and provides care in immediate postpartum phase for mom and newborn together to alleviate the need to go to hospital if any concerns arise in early postpartum phase. DR. Intwala ensures continuity of care to her patients who trust in her during pregnancy and newborn care, which is of paramount importance as many families are single family - having no support system and have a lot of anxiety regarding pregnancy and newborn care.

DR.Intwala has worked from 2011 to 2016 at Flin Flon general hospital ,as a family physician, Emergency physician and Obstetrician, from 2013 till 2016 DR. Intwala has served as chief of Obstetrics at Flin Flon General hospital at Northern Regional Health Center.

In Flin Flon Dr. Intwala had single handedly provided Obstetrics care, including providing C-section, as well implemented and updated Obstetrics policies and procedures. During her tenure in Flin Flon DR. Intwala had also served as Chief of Emergency group, Practice supervisor to new physicians and also donned the role of President of Medical staff.

Form year 2017 till 2019 DR. INTWALA Worked at DRYDEN Regional Health center, where she continued to work as family physician, Emergency physician and Obstetrician. From year 2017 till 2019 Dr. INWALA was appointed as Chief of Surgery. In a short period under her leadership Surgical department at Dryden Regional Health center achieved Quality Improvement / Research Achievement in shorted wait times for referrals to surgical oncologist. In short period of 2 years, Medical staff at Dryden Regional health Centre appointed Dr. Intwala as Vice President of Medical staff.

In Year 2019 Dr. Intwala decided to move back to Winnipeg to raise her children and call Winnipeg Home. In 2020 DR. Intwala started her own clinic in south Pembina as Happy Family medical and walkin clinic. In year 2021 she has expanded her services in North and east of Winnipeg due to high demand of the her patients. Within 2 years of her endeavour of establishing practice in Winnipeg Dr. Intwala won AWARD OF EXCELLENCE IN FAMILY MEDICINE as a part of Artemis Family Physicians Obstetrics group- In recognition of outstanding contributions in Family Medicine by Manitoba College of Family Physicians .

DR. Intwala's Love for Surgical skills keeps expanding and in present year she did in-depth training in Medical aesthetics, to provide elective minimally invasive aesthetic treatments in a safe clinical environment, with evidence based techniques to provide best results and avoid complications.

DR. Intwala is also a Lecturer with school of Medicine at University of Manitoba and was an assistant professor at Northwest Ontario , school of Medicine. Dr. Intwala enjoys teaching budding doctors. Dr. Intwala is a firm believer that " a Doctor is always a student " and has committed to advance herself to new innovation in medical science to give best possible care to her patients.
